Short ovals, big bumps.
Old cars on short British ovals, bumping, spinning and falling to bits while a tannoy announcer calls every crash.
This is banger racing, the sort you get on a Saturday night at a stadium in the middle of nowhere. You race old cars round short ovals, you bump the people in front, and the cars lose their panels, wheels and, in the case of a hearse, the coffin.
It plays from one to four players in split screen on the N64, with sixteen named computer drivers making up the field, and a tannoy announcer who reads out the menus and calls the race. The web version also lets you play online with up to three friends.
In the menus the arrow keys move the cursor. On the Who’s Racing screen each player joins by pressing A, and each gamepad is its own player, so up to four can share one screen.

These games run on a real Nintendo 64 as well as in the browser, and they need the Expansion Pak. If you’d like the ROMs, just ask me on GitHub or LinkedIn.
