Bristol 64

Summer 1997, with hills.

Sir Nigel Vance wants the whole Harbourside, and the people standing in his way run a chip shop, a pirate radio station, a boatyard and a milk round.

About Bristol 64

This one uses the same engine as Miami 64, but it’s set in my home city. Bristol is hilly and drizzly, you drive on the left, and the Clifton Suspension Bridge hangs high over the gorge. If you take Park Street fast enough, it makes a proper jump.

Sir Nigel Vance wants the Harbourside for his Harbour Point development, and Kev, Pearl, Selecta Kofi and DS Maggie Rudd need someone to get in his way.

  • A hilly Bristol with curving roads, the Floating Harbour, the New Cut and a gorge that fills with fog in the morning
  • Fourteen missions that finish at the Balloon Fiesta at Ashton Court
  • Hatchbacks, black cabs, double-decker buses, panda cars, harbour ferries and a milk float on the roads
  • Chip shops and pubs where you can grab something to eat, and a scooter or a yellow sports bike to get around on
  • Thirty stencils to find in place of the flamingos, and the Beast of the Downs
  • Five radio stations, including Soundsystem 97, and prices in pounds
